Property Description
The Parker facility consists of 1,000,000
square feet of excellent, dry, separated storage
and is situated on 58 prime acres.
These warehouses may not be considered the Taj Mahal
of new warehouse construction, however greatly compete
when discussing price per square foot lease rates.
The warehouse construction was designed for processed
tobacco, where the ceiling heights are 15 ft at
the eaves, and eighteen feet in the centers. The
warehouses are divided into seven separate buildings,
having three hour fire walls, dividing each into
25,000 square foot sections.
There are four major entrances to the property for
proper ingress and egress.
One of the greatest enhancements to this facility
is the Paducah Railroad, which feeds from all major
railways. This facility has the capabilities to
handle sixty railcars. Transloads have become a
great part of our business.
When this facility was purchased in 1985, the setting
was more of a park atmosphere. Since 1985, the beautification
has somewhat demised, into a flourishing warehousing
and distribution center. Over seventy dock doors
have been installed, the sprinkler system has been
upgraded to suit just about any commodity, all roofs
are sound and many separated offices have been constructed.
Third party logistics companies are known for safe
and secure facilities. Parker provides a twenty-four
hour in-house manned security force that physically
patrols the property. Sixteen cameras video the
property and grounds, electronic security monitoring
station provides twenty-four hour protection.
